What are Sofra’s opening hours? Are you open on Mondays?
We’re open Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 to 02:00, and the kitchen never closes in between: Turkish breakfast in the morning, lunch, dinner and late-night suppers. We are closed on Mondays.
Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?
Yes. Sofra’s menu labels every vegetarian and vegan dish: mezes like hummus, muhammara and dolma, salads, İmam Bayıldı and a char-grilled vegan kebab. Every dish is clearly marked with its allergens (EU Regulation 1169/2011).
What is the Turkish serpme breakfast and until what time is it served?
Sofra’s serpme kahvaltı is 13 small plates to share between two — cheeses, olives, clotted cream with honey, sucuk, simit and Turkish tea. Served until 13:00 on weekdays and 14:00 at weekends.
What makes Sofra’s kebab special?
Sofra’s zırh kebab is hand-chopped with the traditional curved Gaziantep blade (the zırh) and grilled over holm-oak charcoal on the mangal, in full view. No grinder: the fibre is never crushed and the juice stays in the meat.
